Every FDRE bid comes down to one number — the tariff. RTC-X works backwards from your target equity IRR, stress-tests it across thousands of dispatch solves and a Monte Carlo resource-risk simulation, and delivers the bankable bid tariff you commit to.
The stakes are not abstract. A 250 MW round-the-clock supply settles roughly 1.8 TWh a year, so every 10 paise on the tariff is worth about ₹18 crore a year — for the life of the PPA, with no second chance after submission. Bid too high and the tender is lost; bid too low and equity returns erode for 25 years. A single-scenario spreadsheet assumes one future, keeps Year 1 battery performance for 25 years, and locks in an RE-to-BESS ratio that cannot be undone once the bid is won. RE generation profiles for the candidate sites, BESS specifications including the OEM warranty envelope, the tender's PPA and penalty terms, and grid connectivity constraints. A shortlist of BESS vendors helps but is not required to start.
